Ruth is an insurance qualified quilt appraiser and has extensive textile experience.

Quilts in strong solid colors made by the Amish were the first quilts to be viewed as art. Of late, the dazzling assortment of new prints has justifiably attracted great attention and solids have been regulated to the back burner. Working with free-form, improvisational construction, students will create their own original quilts using Gwen’s easy design concepts and techniques.
