Explore layering and texturing effects with different kinds of fabric paints in single images, multiple images, or “transparencies” on sheer fabrics. You will also do some rubbings, foiling, and emboss velvet. On Day Two, pick up directions for several projects you can make with your great fabrics, and learn how the designs in the carved blocks can inspire embellishments and quilting patterns that harmonize with the stamped elements. You will come away from class with a small project, and tons of ideas for your remaining pieces of original fabric.
