Mini Knitting Technique Classes
Every Wednesday here at the Stitchin’ Post from 10-12 pm we will have a mini class focused on specific knitting techniques. There will be an instructor on hand to walk you through these focused classes. These classes will be offered more than once, so you have more than one chance to take a class. After your mini class, we encourage you to stick around and join in on Sit & Knit from 1-4 pm. If you want to keep practicing what you just learned in your mini class or want to start a new project incorporating your newly learned techniques, you will have fellow knitters close at hand to offer you help and advice.

$5 Quilt Club

Sept 8, Oct 13, Nov 10, Dec 8, Jan 12,
Feb 9, Mar 8, Apr 12 & May 10

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, join us for a half hour and work on your own quilt sampler that Jean and Lawry have designed. They pick two distinctly different fabric themes each year. Each month you get a packet of fabric and a new block pattern. You will need to add some of your own fabrics to personalize your quilt. When you show up with your finished blocks from the prior month, you will be given your new month’s packet of fabrics and block pattern.
*You pay $5 the first time you attend. Also, you will be required to purchase the booklet, Ladies Art Block Too! ($16.95, less a 15% discount). If you bring your finished block, you receive your next month’s fabric and pattern packet free. If you haven’t finished your block from the prior month, you will pay $5. We do give you a free pass in case you need to be gone for one of the meetings. If you finish your block but can’t attend the meeting, send a friend with your block, there is no charge and we can give the next month’s fabric and pattern packet to your friend. By the last meeting, you will have finished your quilt top! This is a fun club – you start and finish a project, meet fun fellow quilters and leave each meeting with new ideas and renewed inspiration.
