Espresso Junction
Lawry Thorn
Monday, November 2 & 9,
6 - 9 pm
Advanced Beginning BSS*

We used batiks for this quilt -- but you decide on the fabrics using two different color families. The sample uses browns and blacks with a bit of cream to create a “mocha!” The construction of the blocks is easy--sewing strips and using the “snowball” technique – yet the quilt has a “that must be hard to make” look to it. This is a fun 65 1/2” x 71 1/2” quilt.

Six months, one Saturday each month, will be devoted to a workshop with a different instructor. Each instructor has chosen a quilt from the book and will interpret it in their own color and fabric style palette, adding their personal flair and expertise. In March, when Freddy and Gwen return to teach a workshop, we will host an evening Show and Tell event with the class/club quilts. The finished quilts will also be in a special exhibit at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show’s 35th anniversary.

The classes will be limited to 24 students and will include a light lunch. Sign up for all six classes and receive one class free or take what you like.
