Circle Bag

This one pattern and set of instructions will enable you to make any of the three variations of the Circle bag, the 8" bag with slide closure, the 10" bag with double asymmetrical flaps, or the 12" bag with the half log cabin block and slide closure.

Peaks & Points Bag

All peaks and points bags have flat square bottoms and unique handles, structured for comfort and style. Bag 1 uses easy half square triangles and bag 2 is made using the enclosed full size templates. Bags 1 & 2 are shown with zippers. Don't let zippers scare you. Take it step by step and you will create a wonderful secure zippered bag in no time. However, all bags can be made with the closure for bag 3. Bag 3 has a unique closure using purchased or fabric cording. The handles are longer so the bag can be carried on your shoulder. All 3 have an inside pocket that can be customized to fit your needs.

Triangle Bag

This pattern will enable you to make any of the 5 variations of the Triangle bag: the mini triangle bag based on 5" quilt blocks with or without borders, the original triangle bag based on 6" quilt blocks, with or without border, or the large triangle bag, with border, based on 8" quilt blocks. You can decide to make these bags from your favorite quilt blocks, or you can use the Square Rose instructions, using fast strip piecing methods, to make the blocks shown on the cover. These blocks include 2 different seminole patchwork blocks, 3 different Sashiko blocks, and an Art Deco block. You can decide to add any of 4 different pockets. Plus all the bags are reversible, so you get two in one.

The Box Bag

This versatile pattern makes many different bags. Use the enclosed original paper pieced design, the pinwheel quilt block, the sixteen patch quilt block, or simply great fabric. All the bags are square, so customize your bag by using your favorite quilt blocks. You can add two different pockets, covered cord, or a contrasting border. Be creative. Make the box bag in silk, embellish it with beads, and it is a prom or evening bag. Add a top border and long strap, and it becomes a larger, useful daytime shoulder purse. Of course, it makes a great sewing or needlework bag. Plus it's reversible, so you get two in one.
